The 1/2 dozen egg tray comes with the option to be personalised with your choice of engraving. The egg tray can be engraved on the front and back edge with up to 11 characters, please note that above 9 characters the text may be reduced in height to fit on the text. Note the front and back engraving will be engraved in capitals.
In addition a personalised message can be engraved on the bottom face of the tray with up to 6 lines of text, with a maximum of 15 characters per line. Note the text will be engraved as typed in, so please use capitals and lower-case as required. The text will be centralised on the tray. A proof will be sent for approval before engraving to the email address provided at checkout.
The egg tray is made from European Oak from FSC and PEFC suppliers. The egg tray is finished with two coats of Osmo TopOil.

Carved in, not printed on
Every letter on your product is cut into the oak at an angle with a V-shaped tool, physically removing wood to leave a crisp, shadowed groove. It's slower than the alternative, but it lasts.
Most cheaper personalised products use laser etching, which only chars the surface. A V-carve is part of the product itself, so it ages the way the rest of the oak does.
