High-Quality Oak Personalised Wooden Cake Stand - Hand Made in Great Britain.
This cake stand comes with the option to be personalised with your choice of engraving. The cake stand can be engraved around the top half of the stand with your chosen engraving (see example 1 in pictures) you can also opt to have an additional engraving along the bottom half of the board (see example 1 in pictures) each half text will take up to 22 characters. Alternatively, you can also have a single long text engraved around the circumference of the board (see example 2 in pictures) this will take a maximum of 50 characters. Note the engraving will be engraved in capitals.
The engraved cake stands are made from European Oak from FSC and PEFC suppliers. The boards are finished with two coats of Osmo TopOil.
The cake stand comes with the glass dome included in the price.

Carved in, not printed on
Every letter on your board is cut into the oak at an angle with a V-shaped tool, physically removing wood to leave a crisp, shadowed groove. It's slower than the alternative, but it lasts.
Most cheaper personalised boards use laser etching, which only chars the surface. That layer fades and can wear smooth within a year or two of washing and chopping. A V-carve is part of the board itself, so it ages the way the rest of the oak does.
